Minister

Aaron Erhardt was born in Lebanon, Kentucky, on November 17, 1980. He was the first child of Douglas and Mary Kay. His family soon moved to Louisville, where Aaron was raised with his brother and sister. Aaron graduated from Valley High School in 1999.
Aaron met his wife, Jill, when he was sixteen years old. They became high school sweethearts and married shortly after Jill graduated in 2001.
Aaron was baptized into Christ as a teenager and immediately expressed a desire to preach. After attending a Bible college in Florida for one year, Aaron began his first full-time ministry at age 19. He has worked with congregations in Louisville (KY), Lexington (KY), Taylorsville (KY), and Hot Springs Village (AR).
Aaron and Jill are the parents of six children — Skylar, Luke, Seth, Natalia, Sari, and Thad. Jill home schools the kids and is a Bible class teacher. Their family is very big into sports, especially basketball, and Aaron usually coaches various youth teams each year.
Aaron hosted a very successful call-in radio program in Louisville for ten years. It aired five days a week and was featured twice in “The Courier-Journal,” which is the major newspaper in Louisville. Aaron has also authored several books and workbooks that are used by individuals and churches around the world.
If you are ever in the Hot Springs Village area, feel free to visit with Aaron and the friendly members of The Village COC!

Daniel Watrous grew up in Houston Texas and attended the Woodland Oaks church of Christ where he was heavily involved with the youth program. Daniel is finishing up his time at Harding University where he studied Kinesiology with a Teacher Licensure and a Bible minor in Ministry. During his Sr. year at Harding he began to work with Village church of Christ as the part time youth minister. Through prayer and consideration he and his wife, Abby Watrous, decided to move to Hot Springs and begin full time ministry at the Village church of Christ as the Youth and Family Minister.  Our goal is for this ministry to be built upon trust in Christ. We want our Families and Youth to be equipped to be servants for God, to be mature in their faith, and to “be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (Mathew 10:16) in a world that so often attacks what God values. Come Join us at the Village Church of Christ!

Abby Watrous grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended Deep River church of Christ where she was heavily involved with the youth program and other church events. Abby is finishing up her time at Harding university where she studied Bible and Missions and looking to one day get her masters in counseling. Through prayer and consideration she and her husband, Daniel Watrous, decided to move to Hot Springs and she began working with the children’s ministry and youth ministry part time. She has grown up working with kids and really feels that God has led her to this position to help the youth further their knowledge and love for God and His Word.
