Minister
Aaron Erhardt was born in Lebanon, Kentucky, on November 17, 1980. He was the first child of Douglas and Mary Kay. His family soon moved to Louisville, where Aaron was raised with his brother and sister. Aaron graduated from Valley High School in 1999.
Aaron met his wife, Jill, when he was sixteen years old. They became high school sweethearts and married shortly after Jill graduated in 2001.
Aaron was baptized into Christ as a teenager and immediately expressed a desire to preach. After attending a Bible college in Florida for one year, Aaron began his first full-time ministry at age 19. He has worked with congregations in Louisville (KY), Lexington (KY), Taylorsville (KY), and Hot Springs Village (AR).
Aaron and Jill are the parents of six children — Skylar, Luke, Seth, Natalia, Sari, and Thad. Jill home schools the kids and is a Bible class teacher. Their family is very big into sports, especially basketball, and Aaron usually coaches various youth teams each year.
Aaron hosted a very successful call-in radio program in Louisville for ten years. It aired five days a week and was featured twice in “The Courier-Journal,” which is the major newspaper in Louisville. Aaron has also authored several books and workbooks that are used by individuals and churches around the world.
If you are ever in the Hot Springs Village area, feel free to visit with Aaron and the friendly members of The Village COC!

Daniel Watrous currently serves as the Youth and Family Minister at the Village Church of Christ in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, alongside his wife, Abby, and their son, Deacon.
Background and Education
A native of Houston, Texas, Daniel was raised in a faith-centered home, attending the Woodland Oaks Church of Christ. His early involvement in the youth program and his desire for a Christian education led him to attend Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
While at Harding, Daniel was a member of the Bison’s Cross Country and Track & Field teams. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Health Science (with Teacher Licensure) and a minor in Ministry and Bible. Daniel and his wife, Abby, met in Houston and were married during their time at Harding.
Ministry and Philosophy
Daniel began his formal ministry experience during his senior year at Harding, serving as the part-time Youth Minister for the Village Church of Christ. Following prayerful consideration, Daniel and Abby accepted the call to move to Hot Springs Village to serve in this full-time capacity.
The ministry’s foundation is built upon a deep trust in Christ. Daniel’s goal is to equip families and youth to become mature, dedicated servants of God, fostering a faith that is both “shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves” (Matthew 10:16) to navigate the challenges of the world.
Come and see what’s going on at Village church of Christ!
